Rehabilitating since 1996
Welcome to 96 Physical Therapy, conveniently located in the Austin, TX area. Our mission is to help you accomplish your mobility goals and return to what you enjoy doing in life!
At 96 Physical Therapy, we do not require state of the art equipment or therapeutic modalities to improve your mobility. We aim to educate our patients and families on techniques and exercises you can learn to perform outside of a clinic, while making functional improvements in the home and community. We make it convenient and easy to accomplish your goals by coming to you!
Stephen Jory, PT, DPT, CBIS
Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Dr. Stephen Jory brings knowledge of the human body and the understanding of being a patient himself. In June of 1996, Stephen experienced a massive stroke leaving him unable to walk or speak. This was a very, to say the least, frustrating and depressing time, but with the guidance of his therapists, support of family and friends, and sheer motivation, Stephen was able to recover and later pursue a doctorate in physical therapy at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. He moved to Austin, TX with the goal of starting his own neurological physical therapy practice. When not striving to keep his patients motivated and progressing to meet their personal mobility goals, he enjoys traveling with his friends and family.
